The Trexenta, like the whole of Sardinia, is characterised by its numerous traditional festivals and feasts.
In fact, the ceremonies in Sardinia are honoured in style even in the smallest villages and each town has its own customs and characteristic beliefs which are often a blend of sacred rituals and those of ancient pagan times.
These festivals are part of the cultural patrimony of Trexenta and throughout the year they represent occasions to remember a period from the past or to pay tribute to a Saint.
Let us take for example the Mid-summer festival (Ferragosto), for which the inhabitants of Guasila are preparing.
