Vermentino di Sardegna
Controlled Denomination of Origin
This wine comes from the best quality Vermentino grapes.
The grapes are pressed, the stalks removed and then there follows a
brief maceration in order to extract the maximum flavour typical of
this grape.
A subsequent gentle pressing produces a top quality must, which, once
it settles, is left to ferment with selected yeast at a temperature
of 18°C. The result of this vinification technique applied to top
quality grapes is excellent. The wine is the colour of straw with just
a hint of green, it has an intense fruity fragrance and a strong, lingering
flavour.
It is a wine whose typical characteristics are accentuated through this
process. It is best served at a temperature of 10°C, preferably
with fish dishes.
